The short answer
For a small business, AI automation typically runs about $268–$980 per month, plus a one-time build (setup) fee of roughly $1,870–$5,600. Where you land depends on how many systems you switch on and how much they connect to the tools you already use.
That's a real range from our own pricing — not a teaser. Every price is shown as a band because the exact figure depends on your business, and we'd rather be upfront than quote a headline number you can't rely on.
What you're actually paying for
There are two parts, and it helps to keep them separate:
- The build (one-time setup). Designing the system for your business, writing it in your voice, connecting it to your tools, and testing it before it goes live.
- The monthly (ongoing). Running it, monitoring it, and improving it over time — the part that keeps working while you don't.
What moves the price up or down
- How many systems you run — one (say, 24/7 lead capture) costs less than a full stack across sales and admin.
- How much it integrates — plugging into your CRM, booking tool or phone system adds build time.
- Volume — higher enquiry and message volume can shift the monthly.
- Custom vs standard — most businesses fit a package; heavier customisation costs more.

How to know if it's worth it
The useful question isn't "what does it cost" — it's "what is the problem costing me now?" Add up the enquiries that go unanswered after hours, the quotes that go cold without follow-up, and the hours spent on admin that a system could handle. For most local businesses, recovering even a small share of that each month covers the plan comfortably. We'll do that maths with you honestly on a call — including telling you when automation isn't worth it yet.
